The Rapides Chapter of the Southern University Alumni Federation is dedicated to supporting the goals and objectives of the Southern University Agriculture and Mechanical College through recruitment, financial support, public relations, community outreach, talent, loyalty, dedication, and commitment to the highest standards.

Consisting of more than 100,000 graduates, The Southern University Alumni is actively engaged throughout the United States and the globe. Led by a history of dynamic, dedicated, and capable leaders, the Federation strives to keep graduates connected and exposed to opportunities, recognize alumni accomplishments, bring awareness to issues that affect the University, and above all, continue the fight to preserve the University and its’ mission.

As we enter into this 2024 calendar year, there is a strong need to do more for our community and even more for our future students of Southern University, supporting the continuous growth of one of the most profound University in the United States.
